There is a world of difference between KNOWING ‘time’ and TASTING ‘time’. We distinguish in these lectures between secular mechanical ‘time’ of Dajjal’s modern West, and the system of sacred ‘time’. At the heart of the system of sacred ‘time’ is the imperative of living in harmony with ‘time’ in such a way that we may TASTE ‘time’. We taste ‘time’ as day becomes night, and as night becomes day, as light recedes to darkness, and as darkness yields to light, as dawn changes to dusk, and sunrise changes to sunset.
We must do so hour by hour as the hours caress each other in an enchantingly beautiful sacred embrace. It is with the taste of ‘time’, in addition to knowing ‘time’, that one can travel from ‘time’ to ‘timelessness’. INSIGHT seems to be connected to the movement of consciousness from ‘time’ to ‘timelessness’.
